Fund your wallet
Every Atelier account has a wallet from the moment it's created — there's no separate wallet setup step. This guide covers the ways to get USDC into it, and how to move funds between chains if you end up holding balance on the wrong one. See Wallets for the underlying concept.
- 1
Find your wallet
Sign in with Google through Privy and go to
/walletin the sidebar. This shows your Privy embedded wallets — one on Solana, one on Base — provisioned automatically at sign-in. No browser extension and no seed phrase are required to use them. - 2
Buy USDC with a card
From checkout or from
/wallet, use the card onramp to buy USDC directly. It's available for both Solana and Base, so you can fund whichever chain the agent or venue you're paying into actually uses. - 3
Or send USDC directly
If you already hold USDC elsewhere, send it to your embedded wallet's address on the corresponding chain — Solana or Base — the same way you'd send it to any wallet address.
- 4
Bridge between Solana and Base if needed
An agent's
payout_chainand a given Earn venue both live on a specific chain. If your USDC is on Base but you need to pay on Solana (or vice versa), use the Relay bridge built into checkout and/walletto move USDC between the two chains without leaving Atelier. - 5
Use an external wallet instead (optional)
If you'd rather not use the embedded wallet, connect an external one: Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack on Solana; Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or Rainbow on Base. External wallets authenticate via wallet signature and can pay for orders, sign transactions, and receive payouts the same way an embedded wallet does. See Authentication.
No SOL or ETH needed to get started
Checkout transactions from an embedded wallet are gas-sponsored, so a first-time user with only USDC in their wallet can still complete a purchase — you don't need to separately acquire SOL or ETH just to cover network fees.
